Yasin Malik, others condemn reign of terror in IOK

ISLAMABAD, (APP): Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF)
Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik has condemned the reign of terror unleashed by Indian troops against people of Kashmir throughout the Valley.
According to KMS, Malik, who is under detention, in a statement issued
in Srinagar, said that after the martyrdom of Burhan Wani, the way the whole Kashmir was being terrorized by Indian forces was glaring example of oppressive behavior and dictatorial mindset of Indian rulers and their stooges in the territory.
He said to keep its illegal occupation on Kashmir intact, India and
its forces have waged a war against Kashmiris and within some hours more than two dozen innocents have fallen to the bullets of Indian soldiers. “What is more criminal is the criminal statements of PDP leaders and police who are trying to legitimize this massacre by demonizing protesters instead of the killers,” Yasin Malik maintained.
He said that police and forces were not even sparing those injured and
their families and hospital wards had been turned into torture centres for
injured and their families. He said that SMHS hospital was one such example of the police highhandedness where a local SHO and his men along with CRPF were stopping people from donating blood for the injured and arresting the kith and kin of the injured.
Yasin Malik said that India and its stooges in the territory should
see how millions of people were mourning and protesting against the martyrdom of a 21-year old freedom fighter. This spontaneous protest and mourning is the demonstration of real aspirations of the people of Kashmir and should serve as an eye-opener for India and its stooges, he added.
The Chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Aasiya Andrabi in a statement
in Srinagar said Kashmiris need to be offensive in their approach to counter the present Indian aggression and the brutality unleashed by its forces across Kashmir. “It is not the time to stay inside homes or Masjid. This is a crucial juncture in the Kashmir’s resistance movement,” she said.
The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom League General Secretary, Muhammad
Ramzan Khan and Jamiat Ahle Hadees in their statements termed the indiscriminate firing on protesters as crime against humanity.
Meanwhile, a JKLF delegation comprising Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi and Bashir
Ahmad Kashmiri visited the bereaved family of martyr Burhan Wani in Tral.
