Zardari hails Sindh govt for presenting pro-poor budget

ISLAMABAD, (APP): Former President Asif Ali Zardari has
congratulated the provincial Sindh government specially Minister for
Finance Murad Ali Shah for presenting a poor-friendly budget of year
2016-17.
In a statement issued by the party secretariat, Asif Zardari
said that keeping the welfare of the poor people uppermost while
making the budget has been the vision of party leaders Shaheed
Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.
“Keeping alive the traditions of our Shaheed leaders, the
Sindh government has given a pro-poor budget for which it deserves
to be complimented,” he added.
He said the strength of Sindh budget lies in the fact that it
has been formulated in the spirit of reconciliation and
participatory politics with emphasis on job creation and focus on
benefiting both the people of rural areas and cities of the
province.
Asif Zardari also appreciated the Sindh government for making
special efforts for providing clean drinking water to the people of
Thatta.
