Merkel says ‘serious differences’ remain in coalition talks
Berlin, (MILLAT ONLINE):German Chancellor Angela Merkel said Thursday that “serious differences” remain between parties seeking to form a government but she voiced hope they would succeed on the final scheduled day of exploratory talks.
Merkel’s conservative bloc, the pro-business Free Democrats and the Greens had “very different positions” on some policy issues, she said, adding however that “I believe it can work”.
