Petra, BTA sign cooperation programme on exchange of news

AMMAN,Nov 26 (APP/AA):Jordan News Agency Petra and the Bulgarian News Agency BTA signed in Amman, a cooperation programme on the exchange of news and expertise between the two agencies. Under the cooperation programme, which was signed by Petra’s Director General Faisal Al Shboul and BTA’s Director Maxim Minchev in the presence of Jordanian Consul in Bulgaria Hassan Al Otoum, the two agencies will also exchange photo, video services as well as publications. They will further work to provide their correspondents with all necessary facilities while covering events, and facilitate visits of officials from both countries. In remarks during the signing ceremony, Al Shboul said Petra was proud to cooperate with the BTA, pointing in this regard to the friendly ties and cooperation between Jordan and Bulgaria in various fields. He said the programme reflects Petra’s keenness to enhance relations and partnerships with Arab and international news agencies to serve the agency’s message and objectives and develop the media profession. The director of BTA, for his part, highlighted the importance of cooperation among news agencies in light of the significant progress that has been achieved in the journalism work. He also affirmed the importance of boosting cooperation between Petra and BTA to serve their interests in various domains.
