Hurriyat forum denounces house detention of Mirwaiz in IoK
ISLAMABAD,(MILLAT ONLINE):Hurriyat forum in Indian occupied Kashmir, has denounced the frequent house detention of its Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and condemned the forces’ action in which a teenage student was fired with pellets.
According to Kahsmir Media Service, Hurriyat forum spokesman in a statement issued in held Srinagar criticised the authorities for placing Mirwaiz under house detention again and again. “The move to detain Mirwaiz frequently is aimed at barring him from carrying out his social, political and religious duties,” he added.
The spokesman condemned the forces action in which a teenage student, Zahid Manzoor Mir of Nowshehra, Zonimar, was fired with pellets and his vital organs like kidneys and gallbladder were damaged.
The spokesman said that on the instructions of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq a delegation comprising Sofi Mushtaq Ahmad, Muhammad Shafi Khan, Peer Ghulam Nabi and Farooq Ahmed Saudagar went to SMHS hospital and inquired about health of Zahid.
