Parliament will never allow anyone to harm democratic system: Rabbani
ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT ONLINE):Senate Chairman Mian Raza Rabbani said on Tuesday that the Parliament has to play a lead role in protecting and preserving the Constitution and will never allow anyone to harm the democratic system in Pakistan.
Talking to Radio Pakistan, he also urged all the political forces, intellectuals and professionals to join hands in preparing a national narrative to counter dangerous trends emerging in the country.
Referring to the issue of Faizabad sit-in, he said that such trends are dangerous to politics, democracy and the state of Pakistan.
