Rivers flows, reservoirs level report

ISLAMABAD, (APP); The position of the river inflows and
outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels
and the barrages Thursday is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 25500 cusecs and Outflows 17000
cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 22800 cusecs and Outflows 22800 cusecs,Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 40900 cusecs and Outflows 15000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 25600 cusecs and Outflows 21500 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows55900 cusecs and Outflows 52900 cusecs,Chashma:
Inflows 56100 cusecs and Outflows 57100 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 46900 cusecs and Outflows 43300 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 17900 cusecs and Outflows 16000 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 60300 cusecs and Outflows 58700 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 55900 cusecs and Outflows 29300 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 24300 cusecs and Outflows 4000 cusecs..
Reservoirs ( Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1447.86 feet,
maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage is 1.431 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1115.70 feet,
maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage is 0.912. MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 647.90 feet,
maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage is 0.236 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River
Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
