Chinese University keen to work with NUML in research field

ISLAMABAD, Dec 03 (APP):Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GUFS) China is keen to enhance the students exchange program with National University of Modern Language(NUML).
This was stated by Sui Guangjun, Chairman of University Board & President GUFS during his visit to NUML, a news release said on Sunday.
During the visit the seven-member delegates met with the Rector NUML Major General Zia Uddin Najam (retd)
and visited various departments of the varsity.
Director General NUML Brig Muhammad Ibrahim, Registrar NUML, Directors, Deans and Heads of Departments also present on the occasion.
During the meeting with Rector NUML, the president Guangdong University said that NUML is playing extraordinary role in promoting Chinese language and culture in Pakistan.
He said that GUFS is keen to enhance the students exchange program and start joint research initiatives with NUML to further extend the relations between two countries.
He briefed the Rector NUML about the GUFS in detail and discussed the possible cooperation in
different field.
Rector NUML in his address welcomed the worthy guests and said that Pakistan and China have deep cordial relations.
He said NUML has various MoUs with different Chinese institutes/universities and Varsity will be keen to
have with GUFS to promote the educational contacts between two countries.
Rector NUML said that NUML can assist GUFS to teach Urdu to Chinese students via online classes.
He also suggested the president GUFS that NUML can help them by providing supervisors and evaluators for their Management Sciences program.
