Govt working on FATA reforms: Rana Afzal
ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT ONLINE):Parliamentary Secretary Finance, Revenue, Economic Affairs, Statistics & Privatization Rana Muhammad Afzal said Wednesday that government was working on introduction of reforms in Federally Administrating Tribal Area (FATA) for last two years and would not allow politicization of the issue.
Talking to media persons here at Parliament House, he said that Prime Minister had
called a meeting of position parties on Fata reforms on Thursday.
He said that government wanted to build the consensus in the house on FATA issues and
abolish Frontier Crimes Regulations (FCR) to bring FATA in
mainstream.
Rana Afzal said that Dollar was being monitored on daily basis by the government, adding that
the government was well aware of its positive or negative impacts.
