Fire at PTV building destroys expensive equipment
PESHAWAR, (MILLAT ONLINE):A fire that erupted in the offices of Pakistan Television (PTV) Centre here during wee hours of Friday has been doused,
firefighting officials said.
The officials said the fire gutted equipment of worth millions of rupees.
“The fire broke out in the design section of the building,” general manager of Pakistan Television
(PTV) Peshawar, Mirza Amjad Javed said.The cause of blaze is yet to be known, he added.
Four fire tenders and around 30 firefighters took part in the fire extinguishing operation, the official said.
