LASBELA, March 20 (APP): The brother of late Arshad Pappo who was
alleged head of Layari Gang, has been arrested by police in industrial town of Hub, on Sunday.
The police told journalists that they on a tip-off, they conducted raid
at a hosue in Bhat Abad area in industrial town of Hub and arrested Hamid alias Aamir.
The police claimed that they recovered hand grenade and weapon from the
possession of the suspect.
The suspect opened fire at the police party as they reached near the
hideout of the accused. An exchange of fire took place between the suspect and the police which resulted in arrested of him.
The police further said that Hamid alias Aamir was brother of Arshad
Pappo. They added that Arshad Pappo was member of Layari Gang who had already been killed.
Further probe was underway.
