European stock markets rise at open

LONDON, March 23, (APP/AFP) – European stock markets pushed higher at the start of trading Wednesday, with airline and travel stocks in positive territory after the previous session’s sharp falls caused by the Brussels attacks.
Frankfurt’s DAX 30 index rose 0.6 percent to 10,046.94 points and the Paris CAC 40 climbed 0.2 percent to 4,442.59.
London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index nudged up just a few points to 6,194.07 compared with Tuesday’s close.
