Heavy snowfall recorded in Astore
ASTORE, (MILLAT ONLINE)::About 1 to 2 feet snowfall recorded in the Gilgit Baltistan district this year and weather became very cold.
A heavy snow fall has been recorded in the upper areas of Astore that is about 1 feet to 2 feet in Dewsai, Qamri and Mini Marg and about 4 inch to 5 inch in the area of Lous Bala, Pareshing and other adjacent valleys.
There is a fear of blockade of roads if snowfall continues. The people are facing problems and wears hot sweater and coats. The shopkeepers also increased their rates in different winter items. The people requested local administration to take measures for price control.
