Pulwama shuts to mourn death of Noor Muhammad Tantray

ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT ONLINE):A complete shutdown was observed on the second consecutive day, Wednesday, in Tral and Aripal areas of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district to mourn the killing of Noor Mohammed Tantray.
All shops and other business establishments remained closed while public transport was off the roads, KMS reported.
People from different areas thronged the residence of Tantray in his native village at Dar Ganaie Gund of Aripal tehsil in a show of solidarity, KMS reported.
Tantray alias Noor Trali was during a cordon and search operation in Samboora village of Pampore in Pulwama district, yesterday.
Meanwhile, Indian police arrested the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza along with several party activists at Khannabal in Islamabad district while he was proceeding towards Tral to condole with the family of martyr, Noor Muhammad Tantray. Waza and other party activists have been lodged at Sadder police station in the district.
On the other hand, a dead body was recovered from orchards in Lisser, Kokernag area of Islamabad district, today. The deceased has been identified as Shahbaz Majeed Sheikh.
