Rivers flows, reservoirs level report

ISLAMABAD, (APP): The position of the river inflows and
outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels
and the barrages Friday is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 27500 cusecs and Outflows 14000
cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 20700 cusecs and Outflows 20700 cusecs,Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 48600 cusecs and Outflows 57400 cusecs,Chenab at Marala: Inflows 23800 cusecs and Outflows 18800 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 47300 cusecs and Outflows 42300
cusecs,Chashma: Inflows 40300 cusecs and Outflows 45900 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 53800 cusecs and Outflows 50300 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 23400 cusecs and Outflows 19800 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 71200 cusecs and Outflows 64400 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 65000 cusecs and Outflows 39700 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 24400 cusecs and Outflows 1100 cusecs.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1457.22 feet,
maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage is 1.786 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1131.75 feet,
maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage is 1.364. MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 646.20 feet,
maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage is 0.173 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River
Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6 a.m.
