Number of missing from Peru bridge collapse falls to three

Lima, (MILLAT ONLINE):The number of people missing following the collapse of a bridge in Peru has fallen to three from 16, officials said Thursday.
Fourteen people were injured — five of them seriously — when the bridge collapsed on Tuesday following hours of heavy seasonal rains, the civil defense department said in a statement.
Located near Kimbiri in central Peru, the bridge was built in 2015 and was closed to traffic for maintenance, according to local authorities in the village.
The village is around 150 kilometers (95 miles) northwest of the Machu Picchu ruins.
