PM inaugurates NIC, terms facility a milestone in IT sector
PESHAWAR,(MILLAT ONLINE):Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi
Saturday said the government was striving to facilitate young generation by
providing them endless opportunities of employment through promotion of internet broadband connectivity.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony of National Incubation
Centre (NIC) held at Islamia College, he said the centre would cater
to the needs of young generation in the field of information and technology by keeping pace
with the fast changes in the field of science.
He said that incubation centre would explore the capabilities
of young generation and serve as a bridge by giving them access to job opportunities
inside the country as well as in the international market.
The prime minister said that provision of broadband facility was
also being considered as among the significant needs of the youth like basic education,
adding it would help bring youth living in the far-flung and tribal areas in the national mainstream
of development and prosperity.
He said facilitation of young generation would eliminate issues like
extremism, drug and arms use through opening of new vistas of growth and
prosperity.
