Tokyo stocks open higher
Tokyo, (MILLAT ONLINE):Tokyo stocks opened higher Friday, shrugging off declines on Wall Street, as Japanese shares were seen lagging behind recent global rallies driven by a bullish outlook for the world economy.
The Nikkei 225 index gained 0.32 percent, or 75.92 points, to 23,839.29 in early trade, while the broader Topix index was up 0.46 percent, or 8.55 points, at 1,885.41.
