ISLAMABAD, (APP): President Pakistan Peoples Party
Parliamentarian (PPPP) Asif Ali Zardari has strongly condemned the
suicide attack in Iqbal Town, Lahore.
In a statement Asif Zardari said that he was profoundly
shocked and grieved over the shameful attack adding, “such incidents
have not weakened the national resolve to root out militancy,
extremism from our soil”.
The former President prayed for those who lost their lives and
sustained wounds and also offered his deepest condolences to the
bereaved families.
Asif Zardari also directed the party workers to visit the
victims’ families and those in the hospital to commiserate and also
to extend all possible help in their hour of distress.
