Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI, Mar 28 (APP)- Shipping activity remained active at the
Port where two ships C.V Calidris and M.T Sapporo Princess scheduled
to load/offload Containers and 40,000 tonnes crude oil were berthed at
Qasim International container Terminal and FOTCO Oil Terminal,
respectively, during the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, five more ships C.V Al-Hilal, C.V MSC Roberta, M.T
White Puri, M.T Beech Glaxy and M.T Boronia also arrived at outer
anchorage of Port Qasim during last the 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was managed at the Port of forty percent on
Sunday where a total of six ships namely C.V calidris C.V Northern
Magnitude, C.V MSC Antalya, M.V M.V adventure-k, M.T Sapporo Princess,
M.T Liberty-N are currently occupying berths to load/offload
Containers, Cement, Steel coil, Project cargo, Chemicals, LNG and
Diesel and SF seeds, respectively, during the last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 101,694 tonnes, comprising 18,193 tonnes
imports and 83,501 tonnes exports, inclusive of containerized cargo
carried in 4,518 Containers (TEUs) was handled at the Port during the last
24 hours.

Departures:
Two ships ‘C.V MSC Antalya Mehuin’ and `M.T Liberty-N sailed out
to sea on Monday morning, while two more ships, C.V Calidris and C.V
Northern Magnitude are expected to sail on same day afternoon.

Arrival Schedule:
Three ships C.V MSC Roberta. C.V Al-Hilal and M.T Beech Galaxy
carrying Containers and Chemicals are expected to take berths at QICT
and EVTL, respectively, on Monday, 28th March.
