CJP bans entry of habitual petitioner in SC
ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT ONLINE):Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar on Wednesday banned entry of habitual petitioner Shahid Orakzai in the Supreme Court premises.
A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice, Mian Saqib Nisar issued the notice, banning Shahid Orakzai’s entry in SC premises, as he has been seen maligning the judicial process by filing petitions.
Most recently Orakzai filed a petition against the appointment of Justice Mansoor Ali Shah as SC judge.
The chief justice remarked that the era of false petitions is now over.
“You are a habitual petitioner who insults judges,” the chief justice observed. “We will not allow judges to be insulted,” he added.
