Only Kashmir solution can ensure peace in South Asia: APHC

ISLAMABAD, (APP): The All Parties Hurriyet Conference has called
for settlement of the Kashmir dispute to ensure lasting peace in South Asian
region.
The demand was made at the APHC Executive Council meeting, presided
over by its Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in Srinagar. Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on the occasion said the Hurriyet wants cordial relations between Pakistan and India, but for this the two countries would have to resolve the long-pending dispute,reported Kashmir Media Service.
The participants of the meeting expressed condolences with the families
of victims of Lahore blasts.
They also paid glowing tributes to Ishfaq Majid Wani, Shabbir Siddiqui,
Dr Abdul Ahad Guro, Advocate Jalil Andrabi, and other thousands of Kashmiri
martyrs.
Other APHC leaders who attended the meeting included Professor Abdul
Ghani Butt, Masroor Abaas Ansari, Bilal Ghani Lone, Mukhtar Ahmed Waza, Javaid Ahmed Mir, Abdul Mannan Bukhari, Advocate Abdul Majid Banday and Advocate Shahid-ul-Islam.
