Budding hockey players need to do hard work for better results

LAHORE, Feb 19 (APP):Pakistan has a lot of talent and
players only need good coaching and hard work to produce
the desired results.
A hockey supporter from Malaysia Akbar bin Yasin said
this here on Monday.
He said that selection of players on merit was very
essential for promotion of hockey at all levels.
Akbar bin Yasin appreciated Rukhsana Arshad Women Hockey
Academy (RAWHA), which is playing a role in creating awareness
among young girls of different age groups and the game and
providing them with various facilitates like education. He
said that support from different segments of society for
promotion of hockey was crucial.
He thanked RAWHA for its warm hospitality during his stay
in Pakistan and said he would donate 2,000 Malaysian ringgit to
the Academy.
Later, Patron-in-Chief of RAWHA Muhammad Arshad Ghumman
presented a souvenir to the guest.
Akbar bin Yasin also interacted with women hockey players,
being trained by RAWHA. Sahrish Ghumman, ex-captain of
Pakistan’s Women Hockey team, was also present on the occasion.
