Healthy mother healthy baby’ contests held

KHANEWAL, Feb 22 (APP):’Healthy Mother and Healthy baby’
contests were held in three tehsils of Khanewal district on
Thursday in line with week-long family planning ceremonies being
observed under the aegis of population welfare department.
In Khanewal tahsil, contests were held at four population
welfare centres, including Khanewal city-1, Khanewal city-2, old
Khanewal and Muslim town. Deputy District Population Welfare
Officer Bakhtawar Mehfooz distributed prizes among the first
three position holder healthy babies.
A contest was held at Mianchannu city-1 welfare centre where
population welfare officer Muhammad Qasim awarded prizes to the
healthy kids while in Kabirwala, population welfare officer
Muhammad Bilal chaired the event and awarded prizes to healthy
babies.
