Timely Senate elections silence all rumor: Baligh-Ur-Rehman
ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT ONLINE):Federal Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training Baligh-Ur-Rehman has said that the timely conducted of Senate elections has silenced all rumor mongers.
He said Senate of Pakistan is symbol of federation and has always played a significant role in legislation and other matters of national importance, Radio Pakistan reported.
He said, due to abeyance of the parliamentary process in the country during the dictatorial regimes, democracy and development of the country were damaged.
The divergence of opinion is beauty of democracy and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) has always respected the mandate of other parties and has cooperated with them in the best interest of the country, he added.
