SC decides to indict Talal Ch. in contempt case on March 14
ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT ONLINE):The Supreme Court on Thursday decided to indict Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry in a contempt of court case on March 14.
A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan heard the case.
During the course of proceedings, Advocate Kamran Murtaza counsel for Talal Chaudhry appeared before the bench and said that the CD regarding Talal Chaudhry’s alleged controversial speeches was not provided to them, due to which they have not been able to view it yet.
He said that he will submit reply on behalf of his client after watching the CD.
Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan remarked that whatever had to happen has already happened and they could add to their reply in the next hearing.
Later, the bench decided to frame charges against the minister at the next hearing on March 14.
