PPP celebrates election of Chairman Senate
BAHAWALPUR, (MILLAT ONLINE):The leaders and activists of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Bahawalpur chapter has celebrated election
of Chairman and Deputy Chairman Senate.
A ceremony was held here in this regard to celebrate election of Mir Sadiq Sanjrani and Saleem Mandvi Wala
as Chairman and Deputy Chairman Senate. The ceremony was attended by PPP Bahawalpur general secretary,
Irshad Ahmed Saroya, district secretary information, Malik Shah Muhammad
Channar, the city president, Syed Tathir-ul-Hassan Tarmazi, Rana Saleem, Malik
Iqbal, Akbar Javed, Saleem Raza and a large number of party workers.
Speaking on the occasion, the PPP leaders said that under the dynamic
leadership of Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, PPP had been
struggling for smooth flourishing of democracy.
“The credit goes to Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari as Mir Sadiq Sanjrani and
Saleem Mandvi Wala were elected against the offices of chairman and deputy chairman Senate,
respectively,” they said.
They also felicitated new chairman and deputy chairman of Senate for assuming charge
of their offices. They hoped that the two would play their significant role for strengthening democracy.
