Electricity production to reach 23,000 to 24,000 MW soon
ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT ONLINE):Minister of State for Power Division , Chaudhry Abid Sher Ali on
Thursday informed the National Assembly that generation of electricity will
reach upto 23,000 to 24,000 MW soon.
Responding to question during question hour, he
said, that no discrimination was being done on load-shedding throughout the
country.
However, he said that load-shedding for
more than the scheduled hours would be applied to the areas with low recoveries
and high losses.
He urged the people to cooperate with the power distributing companies to overcome
electricity pilferage so that load-shedding can be eliminated hundred percent.
