PESHAWAR, (APP): Special Assistant to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief
Minister on Information, Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani said on Monday that the entire government machinery was carrying out relief activities in rain-hit
areas.
In a brief talk with media, he said relief goods including tents,
blankets and edibles have been dispatched to most affected areas of Shangla, Swat, Upper Dir and Lower Dir.
Mushtaq Ghani further said the Provincial Disaster Management Authority
was in touch with district administrations of all the affected districts in the province and monitoring the situation.
He said rain-affected people would not be left alone in this hour of
need and every possible assistance would be provided to them. The situation, he added would soon be brought under control.
