Rs.1025 million allocated for Law & Justice Division

ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT ONLINE+APP):The government has allocated Rs.1025 million for ongoing and new schemes of Law and Justice Division
for the fiscal year 2018-2019 under the Public Development Programme (PSDP).
The budgetary allocation included Rs.184.811  million for seven new schemes including Rs. 20 million
for automation of federal courts, located at federal courts complex at Islamabad ( revised) ,  followed by
Rs. 29.811 million for construction of Federal Shariat Court at Peshawar, Rs 75 million construction of
session division east of Islamabad high court Islamabad, Rs 15 million construction for Supreme Court of
Pakistan branch registry building at Karachi (PC-II),  Rs. 10 million for establishment of planning monitoring
and evaluation cell in ministry of law and justice, Rs.10 million strengthening federal insurance ombudsman
secretariat and Rs. 25 million for acquisition of land for construction of federal insurance ombudsman
secretariat at Karachi.
While Rs.840.189 million have been earmarked for nine ongoing schemes including ,Rs. 100.000 million
allocated for Construction of Additional Block (West in Judicial & Administration Complex at Mavue Area,
G-10 /1 Islamabad followed by Rs.5.000 million for construction of additional Block (west ) in Judicial &
Administration Complex at mauve area , G-10 /1, Islamabad(PC-II), Rs.70.000 million allocated for
construction of Federal Courts Complex /Tribunal at Lahore, Rs 700.000 million allocated for Construction
of federal courts complex /Tribunal at Peshawar, Rs .535.000 million allocated for the Construction of
Islamabad High Court Islamabad, Rs.0.752 million allocated for Construction of Official Residence for
federal tax Ombudsman (FTO) at Sector F-5/2 ,Islamabad, Rs 27.334 allocated for public awareness
and advocacy about dispute resolution mechanism of FTO, Rs 12.706 for strengthening institutional for
capacity of ministry of law and justice Islamabad and Rs 19.397 for strengthening of ombudsman system
of administrative justice and upgradation/expansion of online complaint management in formation system
(CMIS).
All the projects have been funded by the indigenous resources of the government and not a single penny
has been taken as foreign grant, revealed the budgetary document.
