LAHORE, (APP): The position of rivers inflow and outflow at
Tarbela,Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages on Wednesday was as follows:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 40100 cusecs and Outflows 51600
cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 36100 cusecs and Outflows 36100 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 51900 cusecs and Outflows 25000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 22600 cusecs and Outflows 17700 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 78500 cusecs and Outflows 71000 cusecs,
Chashma: Inflows 84900 cusecs and Outflows 80200 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 63900 cusecs and Outflows 63900 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 36500 cusecs and Outflows 30900 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 82200 cusecs and Outflows 82200 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 88200 cusecs and Outflows 60100 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 41900 cusecs and Outflows 21800 cusecs.
Reservoirs ( Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1483.39 feet, maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 2.918 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1140.25 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 1.636 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 648.00 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.240 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma,River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 am.
