Police shielding Indian Army over Handwara killings: APHC

ISLAMABAD, (APP): All Parties Hurriyet Conference has
criticised Indian police for shielding the Indian Army by not mentioning it in the FIR filed regarding recent killings in Handwara.
An APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Held Srinagar while reacting to DC Kupwara Rajiv Ranjan’s remarks about the killings said that Ranjan was a BJP-Shiv-Sena man, kashmir Media Service reported.
“Ranjan is known for his fanatical mindset and his deputation to the
district has been made under a well-thought-out plan,” the spokesman added.
“We have received many complaints about this officer earlier and he is
involved in issuing armed licenses to Shiv Sena and BJP workers in Jammu
areas,” the statement disclosed.
The spokesman also lashed out at the puppet administration for
suspending five employees.”Participating in protests is not a crime. This is a clear indication that inquiry ordered by the authorities is merely eyewash,” he said.
The statement quoting Syed Ali Gilani said that the octogenarian leader
had taken serious note of not mentioning of army’s name in FIR. “The army
personnel killed innocent people in broad daylight in presence of a huge crowd and it is a clear indication that police are shielding them.”
