ISLAMABAD, (APP): Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-
Baltistan Chaudhry Berjees Tahir has said that construction of Diamer-Bhasha
dam will be an important mile stone in the development of Pakistan and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Talking to Radio Pakistan , he said that Diamer Bhasha Dam was not only important for ongoing energy crisis but also important for water storage and food security in the country.
He also informed that Rs. 45 billions have been awarded for land acquisition.
