Aitzaz urges govt to form commission on Panama leaks

ISLAMABAD, (APP): Leader of the Opposition in Senate Aitzaz
Ahsan Thursday urged the government to constitute a commission on
Panama leaks headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan and asked the
opposition parties for a unanimous solution to the issue.
He was talking to media persons after a meeting with
parliamentarians of Federal Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and
Chief of Balochistan National Party-Awami Israr Ullah Zehri.
Aitzaz Ahsan said consultation among opposition parties will
continue during days ahead and also hinted at possibility of a
joint meeting of the opposition parties next week.
The PPP leader said international forensic audit company
should investigate the Panama papers and report to the Chief Justice
or Parliamentary Committee.
He said that Terms of Reference (ToRs) for the investigation of
allegations leveled in Panama leaks will be prepared in consultation
with all the opposition parties.
Aitzaz Ahsan said whole the mechanism will be elaborated in
the ToRs.
