Aasiya Andrabi, Fehmeeda Sofi arrested in Srinagar

ISLAMABAD, (APP): Indian police have arrested the Chairperson
of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Aasiya Andrabi in Indian occupied Kashmir on Tuesday to prevent her from visiting Handwara.
The DeM spokesperson in a statement said that Aasiya Andrabi was first
placed under house arrest by the police and later she was arrested and taken to Rambagh Police Station along with party leader, Fehmeeda Sofi, Kashmir Media Service reported.
Aasiya Andrabi and Fehmeeda Sofi were scheduled to visit Handwara and
take part in a programme organized over the recent killing of five civilians due to the firing of Indian Army and police personnel on peaceful protesters.
