Mercury to rise further; no downpour this week: PMD

ISLAMABAD, (APP): Mercury would rise further in different
parts of the country this week with no downpour according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
An official of PMD told APP that the day temperatures would further
rise from two to four celsius degree during the next few days due to which hot weather conditions would prevail in most parts of the country.
However, the official said, a westerly wave system is likely to enter
Balochistan province on Monday night (May 2) which would bring good rain in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northern Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.
The system would produce rain and dust-storm in the said areas from
Monday to Wednesday and farmers are advised to complete harvesting process of Wheat crop to save the crop from any damage during dust storm and rain.
