Settlement of non-locals in Occupied Kashmir a sinister design: Waza

ISLAMABAD, (APP): Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Chairman,
Mukhtar Ahmad Waza has termed the settlement of non-locals in Occupied Kashmir a sinister design of Indian government to change the demography of the territory.
In a statement, he said such policies are being framed to convert the
Muslim majority territory into a Hindu state just to strengthen India’s illegal occupation, Radio Pakistan reported.
However, Kashmiris who are sacrificing their lives will fight such
policies tooth and nail.
Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement in Held Srinagar
reiterated to continue freedom struggle against all odds.
In the event titled Martyrs’ Role and Current Challenges, the speakers
appealed to the United Nations to implement its resolutions on occupied
Kashmir.
The speakers criticized the authorities over the arrests and harassment
of Hurriyet activists and youth.
