PM unveils development projects in Quetta

QUETTA, (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on
Monday inaugurated a number of development projects including power
transmission line, gas pipeline and underpasses for Quetta.
The Prime Minister who arrived here earlier in the day
unveiled the plaques of various projects, along with Chief Minister
Balochistan Sardar Sanaullah Zehri.
The projects included inauguration of gas line for the supply
of gas to Inayatullah Karez Gulistan in District Qilla Abdullah,
supply of gas to Mastung, Qalat and adjoining areas.
He also unveiled project for construction of an underpass on
Brewary Road at Golimar Chowk at a cost of Rs one crore and 22 lakh
and would complete in August 2017 in Quetta and another underpass on
Zarghoon Road in Quetta that would cost Rs 65 crore and 85 lakh.
The Prime Minister also inaugurated the 220 kv Loralai-DG Khan
electricity transmission
The projects would meet energy demand in the province and
would generate employment opportunities.
The Prime Minister also performed the ground breaking for the
building of Civil Secretariat to be constructed at a cost of Rs 59
crore, 11 lakh.
