KASUR,(APP): Additional District and Session Judge Kasur Rai Mohammad Nawaz Marth awarded death sentence in a murder case,while District & Session Judge Mujahid Mustaqeem Ahmed awarded life imprisonment
in another muder case here on Monday.
According to prosecution,Additional District and Session Judge Kasur,
Rai Mohammad Nawaz Marth awarded death sentence to convict Amir for killing
Mohammad Yahya in 2011 in Mir Mohammad area and imposed one lakh rupees fine as well.The convict’s brother Javed was awarded five-year imprisonment and Rs 25000 fine for severely injuring Mohammad Asif in the precinct of Raja Jang police station.Co-accused Ghulam Ali,father of convicts,and Sabir brother of the convicts were acquitted due to benefit of doubt.
The convicts were closely related to the victim and his injured brother.
Meanwhile,District & Session Judge,Mujahid Mustaqeem Ahmed awarded life time jail and Rs 500,000 fine to accused Mohammad Mansha for killing his brother in law Waris Ali.
According to prosecution, accused Mansha had gunned down the victim
on November 17,2014 in the precints of Raja Jang police.Both the men had
old dispute over shared business in running joint bakery shop.Another co-accused in this case,Mohammad Yusuf,was acquitted due to lack of evidence against him.
