Govt has put country on path of rapid development, progress

ISLAMABAD, (APP): Advisor to PM Ameer Muqam has said
that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor will have positive impact
on the development of southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Talking to Radio Pakistan, he said the Prime Minister is
visiting different districts of the country for inaugurating
development projects.
He also visited Bannu and laid the foundation stone of
gas supply project to five union councils of Bannu which will
cost Rs 259 million and will complete in one year’s time.
The Prime Minister also inaugurated several development
projects, including four major highways, a university in Lakki
Marwat, besides announcing Rs. 200 million for development
projects in Bannu District of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, he added.
He said that PML-N is working on its agenda to improve
the economy at all costs. But some forces are trying to
sabotage government’s efforts as these are following some
foreign agenda.
The political parties must avoid immature politics
and support the government for ensuring stability in the
country, he added.
Senator Ghous Muhammad Khan Niazi said that certain
economic zones will be established in KPK through China
Pakistan Economic Corridor.
He said unemployment will be reduced as people will
get certain jobs through this project. China-Pakistan Economic
Corridor will change the destiny of the region and it will
benefit the whole of the country including Bannu, he added.
He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif announced the
establishment of an international airport in Bannu, alongside
other development projects in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
To a question, he said that the government is also
focusing on provision of less expensive electricity to the
people and vowed to eliminate load-shedding from the
country till 2018.
PML-N will definitely bring about positive change for a
new Pakistan, he added.
Chairman, Standing Committee for Foreign Affairs Nuzhat
Sadiq said that economy is going in right direction because
of the prudent policies of the present government.
He said that many international organizations including
Moody’s, IMF and Bloomberg’s have also appreciated the improving
economy of Pakistan. The credit for this achievement goes to
PML-N, he added.
He said it is the need of time that all the political
parties must support the government in efforts to strengthen
the economy.
“We should be united for the sake of national interest
to achieve our targets to make Pakistan as developed country
of the world. Present government has launched a number of mega
development projects to make a new Pakistan,” he said
