ISLAMABAD, (APP): The All Parties Hurriyet Conference Chairman,
Syed Ali Gilani has said that discriminatory treatment to Jammu and Kashmir
does not fulfill the parameters of justice.
Commenting on the decision of the Indian Supreme Court regarding the
undergraduate medical and dental entrance exams of Kashmir, Syed Ali Gilani in a statement said, Jammu and Kashmir has no resemblance with the states of
India as Kashmir has its own constitution and law which has been completely
ignored in the said court decision,reported Kashmir Media Service.
The Indian Supreme Court in its verdict stated that the entrance
examination to medical courses will be held only through the Indian
institution National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) also in Indian occupied Kashmir.
The APHC Chairman said that the judges of the Indian Supreme Court were
not unaware about this fact that Jammu and Kashmir was not any UP or Bihar
like state of India but its status was totally different and unique. The final solution with regard to the future of Kashmir is pending and this region is in no way any legal part of India.
Syed Ali Gilani said, the policymakers of India are actually employing
different resources and machineries to dilute the disputed nature and special status of Jammu and Kashmir and they are working on a set plan in this regard.
