KARACHI, (APP): Where seven ships C.V Mearsk Kensingion,
M.V An African, M.T ECF Nur-K, M.I Topaz-T, M.T Marc Tirrenum, M.T
White Puri and M.T Liberly-N carrying containers, cement, palm oil,
furnace oil, and LPG were allotted berths at Qasim International
Container Terminal, Multi Purpose Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal,
FOTCO Oil Terminal Engro Vopak Terminal and SSGCLPG Terminal res
pectively on Tuesday. Meanwhile four more ships C.V Maersk Stockholem,
C.V CMA CGM Samson, M.T Karochi and M.V BBC volga with containers,
furmace oil and general cargo also arrived at outer anchorage of Port
Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was recarded at the Port at fifty three percent
on African, M.V Tomini Harmony, M.T Topaz-T, M.T ECF Nur-K, M.T Mare
Tirrenum, M.T While Puri and M.T Liberty-N were occupied PQA berths to
load/offload containers, cement, soya bean seeds,palm oil furnace oil,
and LPG respectively during last 24 hours.
Cargo throughput during last 24 hours stood at 112,831
tonnes,comprising 99,431 tonnes imports and 13, 427 tonnes exports,
inclusive of conlainerized cargo carried in 1,800 containers (TEUS)
(1,200 TEUs imports & 600 TEUs exports) was handled at the port.
DEPARTURES:
Three ships Container Vessel Mearsk Kensington, Bulk cargo carrier
Tomini Harmony and Edible carrier Topaz-T are expected to sail on
Wednesday afternoon.
ARRIVAL SCHEDULE:
Four ships C.V Maersk Stockholm, C.V CMA CGM Samson, M.V BBC to fake
barths at Container Terminal, Multi Purpose Terminal and canola seeds
are expected respectively on Wednesday. while two more ships C.V MSC
Roma and C.V CMA CGM Nerval are due to arrive at Port Qasim on
Thursday.
