CDA removes encroachments from sector F-10

ISLAMABAD, (APP): Capital Development Authority’s (CDA)
campaign against illegal constructions and encroachments is in full
swing.
Teams of Enforcement directorate are conducting operations
against illegal construction across the city.
In continuation of its campaign, teams of enforcement
directorate conducted an operation against the encroachments in
Markaz F-10 and removed illegally constructed sheds and other
encroachments which were causing inconvenience to the general public
visiting the markaz.
The operation was participated by the Enforcement Directorate,
Machinery Pool Organization and other concerned formations of the
Authority while magisterial and police cover was also provided by
the Islamabad Capital Administration and Islamabad Police.
Acting upon the directions of Chairman CDA Maroof Afzal, teams
of Enforcement directorate carried out an anti-encroachment
operation in Markaz F-10 and demolished sheds constructed in the
verandas and footpaths of the different plazas of markaz which were
causing hindrance in the free movement of the general public.
During the operation, five (05) trucks of encroachment
material was also confiscated which was later on shifted to store.
These teams also demolished two (02) cabins constructed illegally
adjacent to a mosque in Markaz F-10.
During another operation in Mouza Chontra, Enforcement staff
also demolished an illegally constructed house and vacated five (05)
kanals of CDA land from illegal occupants.
CDA has reiterated that the operation against illegal
construction will remain continue with more zeal and enthusiasm for
complete eradication of encroachments from the city.
