MUZAFFARABAD, APP):The Ex-Prime Minister and President of PML-N
Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan Friday said that Muslim League-N will formally contest forthcoming Elections under a comprehensive manifesto according to aspirations of the people of AJK and start a new era of development and prosperity after coming in power through public mandate.
He said while addressing a huge public procession in village Katyan of
Ghari Dopatta Township some twenty KMs away from AJK capital Muzaffarabad here.
Raja Farooq was of the view that development of AJK region is the utmost
priority of PML-N and PM Pakistan Nawaz Sharif but he wants to have such a capable government which could deliver with honestly.
He alleged that PPP government was involving in sale of candidature ship
for Kashmir Council elections and millions of rupees have been taken from candidates in this regard he added, saying that if such practice continued from public representatives, the Assembly will lose its credibility and confidence of public he concerned.
The opposition leader asserted that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari should take
notice of corruption of AJK PPP government and sale of council membership before leveling allegation to others, is he not witnessing the loot sale of his party, Farooq questioned.
PML-N president was of the view that one who purchase the council
membership for millions and how one can expect public service from him he asked.
He also asked the media to highlight this issue and raise their voice
against loot sell.
Raja Farooq said that Ch.Majeed is the Prime Minister of AJK and he
should not use abusive language while criticizing others, saying that politicians should follow the code of ethics he asserted.
PML-N president said that we could not announce the names of candidates
due to hectic engagements of PM Nawaz Sharif and after holding talks with PM Pakistan, the candidates would be declared he observed. He said no candidate was given ticket so far he added.
Raja Farooq lauded Dr.Mustafa Bashir Abbassi and Engineer Rafaqat
Hussain Awan and terming them strong candidates in constituency No-6.
