Students observe “A Day with Army” in Quetta

QUETTA, (APP): Over 150 students belonging to six
universities of Balochistan on Monday observed “A Day with Army”
at Quetta Cantonment and visited different places.
These students visited on the invition of Southern Command to
observe “A Day with Army”. Teachers and students belonging to six universities of Balochistan including the University of Balochistan
Quetta, Turbat University Kech, Lasbela University of Agriculture,
Water and Marine Sciences Uthal, University of Loralai, Al-Hamad
University Quetta, and Balochistan University of Information
Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences Quetta spent a day
with the officials and soldiers of the Pakistan Army.
They were taken to Yadgar Shuhada where they placed flowers
and offered prayers for the martyrs of Pakistan Army and Army
Public School Peshawar. They visited the arms
exhibitions and other places in the cantonment.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Salma Muhammad Hasni, a social leader
told APP that the delegation of teachers and students of six
universities of Balochistan would meet with Governor Balochistan,
Muhammad Khan Achakzai, Commander Southern Command, Lt-General. Aamir
Riaz and other high profile dignitaries during their tour in Quetta.
She said that those teachers and students would also be taken to Lahore
to visit Punjab University and other important places in Punjab.
