ISLAMABAD, (APP): President Mamnoon Hussain Wednesday said the
government was taking concrete measures for providing healthcare to the people across the country and said significant steps had already been taken in this regard.
The President made the remarks while talking to Parliamentary
Secretary National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination Dr.
Darshan Punchi who called on him here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr.
President Mamnoon emphasized the importance of easy access to cheap
and quality health facilities by the public, adding that healthy human resource development was key to progress and prosperity of a nation.
The President asked all those who had overdue taxes to pay, so
that resources could be generated to provide more health facilities to
the general public.
