Hurriyet leaders lash out at Singh’s anti-Muslim remarks

ISLAMABAD, (APP): Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference,
Syed Ali Gilani and other Hurriyet leaders have lambasted the puppet Forest Minister Chaudhary Lal Singh for his threatening remarks against Muslims of Jammu.
Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar expressing his deep
concern and anguish over the anti-Muslim assertions made by said that the
outburst of the communal minister of the puppet regime is the perfect reflection of the mindset of RSS and the Sang Parivar, KMS reported.
The Hurriyet leader appealed to Kashmiri people to be mentally
prepared for any kind of situation. “If need arises, I will be the first person to offer my life for the honour, identity and freedom of the Kashmiri people.”
He said Hindu extremist forces are practically waiting for another
1947-like bloodshed of the innocent Muslims in the Jammu region.
He, however, cautioned them, saying, “Any untoward incident with any
Jammu Muslim will invite major storm in the entire territory which will wash away the Lal Singh-like people and they will find no place to hide”. He demanded registration of FIR against the BJP minister.
“He has displayed his level of mental illness and madness, and instead
of sitting on a ministerial chair, his place should be behind the bars,” Gilani said.
He said NC, PDP, and the Congress were collectively responsible for
the pathetic condition of the Kashmiri people.
The puppet Minister Choudhary Lal Singh had made communal remarks by
referring to 1947, when Muslims in the region were massacred during Indo-Pak
partition. Singh had told a delegation of Jammu Muslims that if they had
forgotten the massacre of Muslims in the region in 1947.
Other Hurriyet leaders including Aasiya Andrabi, Firdous Ahmad Shah,
Muhammad Abdullah Tari and Barrister Abdul Majeed Trumbo in their statements said the assertions exposed the sinister policies of Hindutva forces against the Muslims of Jammu and Kashmir.
