Nuclear Pakistan now at verge of economic revolution: Arshad

LAHORE, (APP): Parliamentary Secretary for Information
and Culture, Rana Muhammad Arshad Tuesday said that conducting
nuclear tests was a bold decision of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif,
and now the country was at the verge of an economic revolution.
Talking to APP, Rana Arshad said that Youm-e-Takbeer was an
important day in the nuclear history of Pakistan. He said that
after India’s nuclear explosions, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif
took a bold decision to go for nuclear explosions, despite
immense foreign pressure.
He said that Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) would organise
seminars and ceremonies to celebrate the day (Yaum-e-Takbeer).
The parliamentary secretary said that defence of Pakistan
became impregnable and the enemies could not dare cast an evil
eye on it now.
The nuclear tests were carried out by the PML-N government in
the best interest of the country, and now the same party was
bringing about an economic revolution, which would change the
destiny of the nation, he added.
“To celebrate the anniversary of nuclear tests, cake-cutting
ceremonies will also be organised,” he added.
It is pertinent to mention that the Punjab government had
started preparations to celebrate Youm-e-Takbeer on 28th of this
month.
