PESHAWAR, (APP): Three personnel of Frontier Constabulary (FC)
were martyred when unidentified gunmen riding on motorcycles opened fire on their vehicle at Patang Chowk here Wednesday morning.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Abbas Majeed Marwat
told reporters that the vehicle of FC was approaching Patang Chowk from Ring Road when unidentified assailants opened fire at them.As a result, three FC personnel were martyred on the spot.
District Officer FC Ameer Badshah and two constables, Gul Rehman and Gul
Rasool were moving towards headquarters as usual when their vehicle was attacked in the limit of Faqirabad police station this morning.
Police rushed to the spot and started search operation in the area.
