Shower likely in Punjab

LAHORE, (APP): The Pakistan Meteorological Department
(PMD) on Friday predicted a shower associated with gusty winds
in parts of the province during next 48 hours.
According to a spokesman for the Met office, a westerly
wave is still affecting upper parts of the country and likely
to affect during next 48 hours and under the influence of this
system, light rain/thunderstorm with gusty winds is expected
at few places in Sargodha, Lahore, Gujranwala and Rawalpindi
divisions.
Weather remained hot and dry with the maximum temperature
of 41 degrees Celsius in the provincial capital during last 24
hours.
Some hottest places during last 24 hours are:
Dadu 49øC, Sibbi, Jacobabad 48øC, Moenjodaro 47øC,
Larkana and Rahim yar khan 46øC.
